The very beautiful, lyrical and metaphorical Greek definiton of taking pictures is "writing" or "written" with 'Light" – which gives us the word photo (light) and graphy (written).

 

Harnessing the skill of using light as a writing instrument allows any photographer, especially the product photographer - with the increased flexibility of lighting equipment - to create the exact mood and emphasis demanded by the client or one's own personal artistic sensibility.
